What happens to lost property?

Our drivers will notify the office of any lost property left on a vehicle and this will be kept in our lost property area for 3 months. You can claim your lost property by contacting the office.

Are your drivers DBS checked?

Yes, all our drivers have enhanced DBS checks, which are updated regularly.

Can we consume alcohol on board?

No, it is JRP Direct’s policy that we do not allow any alcohol to be consumed on any of our vehicles.

Can we stop along the way for a comfort stop?

Of course you can. To enable the drivers to plan their route, it would be helpful to request this at the time of booking if you have a particular rest stop in mind. The drivers will always do their best to accommodate you if a stop is needed on the day.

Can I eat on the coach?

We allow cold food to be eaten, but no hot food is allowed to be eaten on board. We ask that if you do eat on board, you are courteous and put your rubbish in the bins provided. Our drivers are the ones who clean your vehicles at the end of your journey.

Do your coaches have toilets on board?

The majority of our coaches have toilet facilities on board. If this is something you require, please make sure you tell our office at the time of booking to confirm this.

Are your vehicles tracked?

Yes, all our vehicles have the latest vehicle telematics fitted to them to allow our office to pinpoint their location in real time. Other data is recorded, such as the vehicle’s speed, braking, and previous journey data, which can be vital when looking back at history, such as a school run drop-off times.

Do your vehicles have CCTV?

Yes, all our vehicles are fitted with CCTV (with audio) inside and out for the safety of our drivers and passengers.

Is JRP Direct VAT registered?

Yes, we are VAT registered and provide VAT invoices.

Are we required to pay a deposit for our journey?

Each job is individual and depends on many factors, such as whether any ferries are required. For more information, please contact us.

Do you transport groups to Europe?

Yes, we take groups to Europe. Whether it’s a day trip to Boulogne or a week’s sports tour around the Netherlands.

Do I have to hire the vehicle for a return journey or can I just book for a one-way trip?

No, you can hire us for one-way journeys.
