Day Trips and Multi-Day Garden Tours Across the UK

Most bookings are either a day out or a longer tour over two or three nights. For day trips, we agree a pick-up point close to home, hotel or station, travel to your chosen garden or gardens and return at an agreed time. Providing coach hire for garden tours over several days, we can link your visits with overnight hotel stops, restaurant bookings and other attractions on the route. Chatsworth one day, Haddon Hall the next, a comfortable hotel in between. We carry luggage, wait while you explore and handle all the driving and parking so nobody in your group has to think about any of it.

Garden Tours Abroad

JRP Direct vehicles are approved for operation on European roads, so if you’re planning a trip to the gardens of Normandy, the Loire Valley or further afield, we can take care of the coach, the driver and the Eurotunnel or ferry crossing.

Our drivers are experienced in international journeys and are fully familiar with the driving hours and rest requirements for longer trips abroad. You or your tour operator plans the itinerary and the garden visits; we provide the transport and get everyone there safely and on time.

Executive coaches include climate control, generous luggage space, 4G Wi-Fi and entertainment systems. Midi coaches offer air conditioning, spacious storage and full vehicle tracking. Smaller executive mini coaches are equally comfortable for groups who want a more intimate tour. All vehicles are wheelchair accessible on request, so nobody needs to be left out.

How the Day Works

From your first enquiry, we confirm the route, check timings and arrange parking as close as possible to each garden entrance. On the day, your driver handles all the navigation, assists with loading and unloading bags and any purchases from the garden shop or plant nursery, and keeps everyone updated between stops. We aim to have the coach with you 15 minutes before the agreed departure time so boarding is calm and the day starts without any last-minute rushing.
