A Local Company

When you plan coach hire in Sussex, and ring 01435 515099, you speak to our office team in Heathfield, not a national booking line. If your venue moves the timings, you call one number, and it’s handled. If the school adds six more pupils a week before the trip, we will adjust the plan rather than reading you a script.

We’ve been operating in our current form since 2019, and a good chunk of our work is repeat business – the same schools, the same clubs, the same care homes, year after year. In a county where word travels, that’s the proof we’d point to.

The short version of why people book us: big-company reliability with genuine personal care. The office knows your booking. The driver has the details. The coach arrives 15 minutes early, cleaned and checked, with a smartly presented driver who’s done this hundreds of times before.

Our Fleet

For full-size groups, we have a few options:

Smaller group? Our 16-seater and 19-seater executive minibuses run the same routes with the same drivers and the same standards.

What Groups Use Us For

School trips. Curriculum visits to Brighton, Lewes Castle and the South Downs, theatre trips, day trips, European travel, sporting events, and end-of-term days out.

Sports teams. Saturday fixtures, county finals, tour weekends. Our drivers are patient about late finishes and extra time, and the kit goes in the hold or a trailer rather than on anyone’s lap.

Corporate travel. Conference shuttles, team days, and race days at Goodwood and Plumpton. Nice vehicles, smart drivers, simple invoicing.

Care homes and community groups. Seaside runs, garden visits, and Christmas lunches. Door-to-door collection, unhurried boarding, calm and courteous drivers.

Airport groups. Larger parties heading to Gatwick or Heathrow together – stag and hen groups, school ski trips, touring parties. We track the flight for the return leg, so a delay doesn’t leave people standing at the kerb.

  • “A Gem Of Your Team”

“I am really pleased to see that a coach driver has such a kind heart and professional attitude. Children all arrived at their destination safely and happy! He is a gem of your team! And I hope that you can pass on our gratitude and thank you so much again for being a very good driver, giving the children a very good example of how it should be behind the wheel.”

Safety

Every coach carries CCTV and telematics tracking. Every vehicle goes through pre-journey checks and is cleaned thoroughly before each hire. Every driver holds an enhanced DBS check, kept up to date, and is trained in accessibility support where relevant.

We’d encourage anyone comparing coach operators in Sussex to ask these questions of every company they call. The good ones won’t mind.

How Booking Works

It’s simple. You contact us with the date, the journey and your numbers. We quote a fixed price. Once you confirm, the office holds the details – pickup points, timings, contact names, anything unusual about the venue – and briefs the driver before the day. If anything changes between booking and travelling, one call updates everything. On the day itself, the coach is outside 15 minutes before you asked for it.

Where We Cover

Heathfield, Uckfield, Crowborough, Hailsham and the Wealden villages are home ground. From there, we cover the whole county – Brighton and Hove, Eastbourne, Hastings, Lewes, Haywards Heath, Crawley, Horsham, Chichester and everywhere in between – plus regular runs into Kent, up to London and out to Gatwick and Heathrow.

FAQs

How far in advance should I book a coach in Sussex?

For summer weddings and end-of-term school trips, two to three months is sensible – those weekends fill up. For ordinary outings, a few weeks is usually fine, and we’ll always try to help at shorter notice if a vehicle is available.

Do your coaches have seatbelts?

Yes, every seat on every vehicle. For school trips we’ll also confirm the seating plan and any booster requirements with you in advance.

Can the coach collect from more than one pickup point?

Yes, by arrangement. Multiple pickups are common for weddings and club trips – just give the office the addresses, and we’ll build them into the schedule and the quote.

Is the wheelchair-accessible coach more expensive to hire?

No. The coaches with a wheelchair space are priced like any other coach of its size. Accessibility shouldn’t carry a premium, and with us, it doesn’t.

What happens if our event overruns?

Talk to the driver or call the office. Wedding receptions and evening fixtures rarely run to the minute, and we plan for that. Significant extensions may adjust the price, but we’ll always tell you before it does rather than after.

Do you do one-way coach hire?

Yes – one-way drop-offs to airports, stations and ports are routine, as are split outward and return journeys on different days.
