JRP Direct is a family-run minibus and coach hire company based in Heathfield, East Sussex, providing event transport across Sussex, Kent, London and the wider South East. Since 2019, we have grown into a modern fleet of 15 vehicles, driven by DBS-checked, well-presented drivers and supported by an office that answers the phone.

Our event minibuses are clean, climate-controlled and comfortable, with a choice of 16-seater minibuses, 19-seater executive minibuses, 35-seater team coaches and wheelchair-accessible executive coaches (51 seats plus one dedicated wheelchair space). Every vehicle carries CCTV and telematics, and is prepared to a high standard of cleanliness before every hire.

Most of our event work falls into a few familiar shapes. Each gets the same care: early arrival, a confirmed driver, and transparent paperwork before the day.

Weddings and private celebrations
From one vehicle ferrying the bridal party between ceremony and reception, to a full shuttle operation collecting guests from hotels at the end of the night. Drivers are briefed on timings, venue access and named contacts, so nobody is standing in the car park wondering who to call.

Corporate events and away days
Executive minibuses for corporate conferences, client days, exhibitions, office socials and company celebrations. Smart vehicles, professional drivers, optional Wi-Fi, charging and PA on request. If the event runs late, we adjust the return time before it becomes a problem.

Sporting events and club fixtures
Team coaches for match days, training, tournaments and all sorts of sports fixtures. A trailer can be arranged for a bulkier kit, and drivers are used to late returns after evening games without making it anyone’s problem.

Every vehicle is thoroughly cleaned before every hire. Cabins are climate-controlled, seating is supportive, and there is generous headroom and aisle space. Luggage is kept tidy, and a trailer can be arranged for bulkier kit by prior agreement.

Our drivers aim to arrive at the first pickup point 15 minutes before the booked time, every time. You don’t need to phone to check.

FAQs

What size groups can you cater for?

Our modern fleet covers groups from 12 up to 70+ passengers across 16-seater, 19-seater executive, 34-seater, 35-seater team coaches, 49-seater executive, 53-57-seater, and 71-73-seater school coaches. For larger groups, we can run multiple vehicles from the same depot, with a lead driver coordinating arrivals.

Do you provide wedding transport?

Yes. We run wedding transport across Sussex and Kent, including bridal party vehicles, guest shuttles between ceremony and reception, and late-night returns to local hotels. Ribbons and simple decorations can usually be arranged on request.

Can you do a late-night pick-up after the event?

Yes. Many of our event bookings include a late-evening or after-midnight return, which we plan in at the time of booking so the driver’s hours are scheduled correctly.

What areas do you cover?

We operate from Heathfield, East Sussex, and regularly cover the whole of Sussex, Kent, Surrey and Greater London, including Gatwick and Heathrow. We also undertake longer UK and European trips, from Scottish castle weddings to ski tours in France.

What happens if our event runs over?

Tell us as soon as you know. Drivers operate to legal hours, and we’d rather plan a later return at the booking stage than be surprised on the night. If an event overruns on the day, we’ll do everything we reasonably can to accommodate it.

Are your drivers DBS-checked?

Yes. Every driver on the JRP Direct team holds an enhanced DBS check, updated regularly. All drivers are trained to assist passengers with mobility or accessibility needs respectfully, and vehicles are fitted with CCTV and telematics for added reassurance.

Can you collect guests from several addresses?

Yes. For weddings, corporate collections and private parties, we regularly run multi-pickup routes, building the itinerary with you in advance so the driver knows the order, the timings and the named contact at each stop.
